How Do You Create An Array of Units Using Skema's Cloning Tool? - Ask Alex

Creating an Array of Units in Skema with the Cloning Tool

With Skema's Cloning tool, you can create an array of units in just a matter of seconds.

Transcript:

Alex here and a question I've been asked is how can I lay out a bunch of the same units

in a row or make an array of units while I'm in my manual floor plan layout editing mode

on Skema you can do this in just a few short steps so when I'm in my manual layout editing

mode what I want to do is drag out the unit I want to copy or make an array of and place

it on my floor so after placing it all I need to do is select the unit and then just select

the move icon in the top left and then I just need to check the Clone mode box and place the

total amount of units I want in my array so for this one I'm just going to put six here and hit

enter and that's including the original unit you dragged out so after selecting that I'm

just going to draw my reference line and that's just going to be the width of the

unit and with one click I'll have six units in an array all copied on the floor plan.
